"Remember these black and whites!"

(1966 yearbook picture, age 17)

As I present "The 1960's Era," I am aware that you, a family member of yours, or a relative of yours also experienced the 1960's era! Great! That being the case, as they review my blog, I hope they may also be able to reflect on their memories of the 60's era. Their comments are welcome as well.

The website's unique perspective blends historical insight with personal reflections; offering readers an engaging and informative experience. Whether you're a history enthusiast or someone curious about this iconic era; my blog (...it really is a book!) provides a deep dive into the decade's lasting impact on society today.

I see the 1960's as demonstrations, broken homes, opinions, civil rights in full effect, art, music, changes in just about everything, cars, dating, and more.

Events become a constant thing with those who want to stay abreast of what's happening in their groups, city, and on TV. If an event becomes a choice of many, it becomes fixed in the minds of many to include baby-boomers.

To say families ended up with many "broken homes" is putting it mindly. Those of today, characterize it differently. But, I'd say, it was a matter of family members were looking to get the most out of life; in their terms: "while they could!" This would mean, there was a war going on. Young men would even think such as, "whatever I am going to do, I do it now, people are dying in the nam."
